San Antonio runs Stage 2 watering most of the summer — once a week, at your designated time. Get it wrong and you hear about it from the city. Get it right and the lawn looks good without the runoff.
Leo programs your controller around your address, fixes the heads that are wasting water, and runs your annual backflow test so you stay in good standing. He has been doing this since 2007.

What we handle
- Annual backflow test — required by SAWS / City of San Antonio Plumbing Code; we file the form for you.
- Controller programming — set to your address’s watering day, with rain-sensor logic so it skips when the sky already did the work.
- Head & valve repair — leaks, geysers, that one head spraying the sidewalk; fixed same-visit when we have the parts.
- Native-plant beds — sage, lantana, salvia, feather grass. Plants that earn their water.
Watering rules per SAWS Stage 2 drought schedule. Backflow testing required annually under City of San Antonio Chapter 24 / SAWS Cross-Connection Control program.

Leo’s home base is right off Broadway in 78209 — Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, Terrell Hills. The inner loop is the densest part of the route, with regulars in Monte Vista, Mahncke Park, King William, and Dignowity Hill, plus a swing out to Schertz, Cibolo, Converse, Boerne, and Helotes most weeks.
If your address is on the route, you get the same crew on the same morning every week. That’s the whole pitch.

- Both. Leo runs the test, signs the form, and emails it to SAWS for you. You get a copy too — keep it with your house records in case the city asks.
- Yes. Leo's home base is right off Broadway in 78209, so the inner-loop neighborhoods are the densest part of the route. Schertz, Boerne, Helotes, Converse, and Cibolo are also on the schedule.
- Flat monthly rate is what most folks pick — same amount every month regardless of cuts (handles the slow January and the busy July). Per-visit billing is fine too. Invoice comes by email; pay by card, check, or Zelle.
- Almost certainly. Leo has been doing this for nineteen years and has seen most of them. If the controller is genuinely failing we will tell you straight and quote a replacement; otherwise we just program it.
- Both. New zones, new heads, full system installs on smaller residential lots. For very large properties we partner with a licensed irrigator and project-manage from there.
- We push to the next dry day, usually within 24–48 hours. You will hear from Leo if it slips beyond that. We do not mow soaked turf — it tears the grass and ruts the yard.
- Yes — general liability on every job. Happy to send the certificate to your HOA or property manager when you ask.
